Kantor Filateli Jakarta: A Nice Place to Hang Out

Kantor Filateli Jakarta or Jakarta Philatelic Office is located at Jl Pos No. 2, Jakarta Pusat/Central Jakarta. This building is the former post and telegraph office building of the Pasar Baru. Built with Art Deco style in 1913, the building is intended to support the new government in Weltevreden which is used as the core of the city of New Batavia. In the days of the struggle, this building is one of the vital points at stake. Philatelic Office Jakarta (KFJ) is one of the business units of PT Pos Indonesia, which manages business of the philatelic objects and other business enterprises with regard to the philately.

Philatelic auction items are routinely carried in KFJ 2 times in one month at Saturday and Sunday at the first week and Saturday to Sunday Day every third week. It is open from 09:00 till 14:00. Philatelic auction items is one of the important activities in the world of philately, and a chain of philatelists world
