The Story of Ancol Station


Ancol Station is a station located on Jl RE Martadinata, Ancol, Pademangan, North Jakarta. The station is a small commuter train station which has routes which branched towards Rajawali and Senen Station and also the direction to the Kampung Bandan Station and Jakarta Kota Station. Ancol Station has 4 railways and 4 platform

In July 2005, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek in cooperation with PT Taman Impian Jaya Ancol were provide tourist trains on Sundays and holidays. This train departs from Bogor, Bekasi, Serpong, Tangerang and the final destination Ancol. Ticket price of Rp 22,500 for a round-trip ticket plus entrance to Ancol

On June 26, 2009, Ancol Station undergoing renovation. And that the process was accelerated on August 11, 2008. PT Tri Kencana Sakti Utama as the station contractor in Ancol, North Jakarta targeting completion of the renovation of the station before the day of Eid. Implemented during the renovation process because it suggests there is a slum in the station.
