Taman Ayodia: An Icon of South Jakarta


Taman Ayodia or Ayodia Park is located at the intersection of Jl. Barito, Jl. Lamandau 3, and Jl. Melawai, Kramat Pela, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan/South Jakarta. This park is one of the famous locations for Jakarta people. This park was a former flower shops and fish markets, The Jakarta Government later decide to reuse this area and renovate again and the park was inaugurated by Governor of Jakarta on March 15, 2009. This park was built as a green area to reduce pollution surrounding Jakarta. The park is established in an area of 7500 square meters, in which there is an artificial lake covering an area of 1,500 square meters, 1,700 square meter jogging track, 200 trees, and two gazebos.

The park is also a marker of the start of the bike path that runs along the 1.5 km up to Blok M. Under the existing plan, Ayodia Park is the only park in Jakarta which will facilitate people with disabilities with the construction plan and special track and a special toilet for the disabled who use wheelchairs.

Many activities you can do in this park than just sit and relax. You can feed the fish in the lake or to see the fountain in the lake. Some young people are inspired by K-Pop also often use the park for practice.

From Juanda / Gondangdia / Cikini go to platform 2 and take the Red Line/Blue Line heading to Bekasi/Depok/Bogor and stop at Manggarai Station. Go to platform 5 and take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop at Tanah Abang Station. Go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Rangkasbitung and stop at Kebayoran Station. Take a 30 minutes walk to the southeast

From Tanah Abang go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Rangkasbitung and stop at Kebayoran Station. Take a 30 minutes walk to the southeast

From Sudirman go to platform 1 and take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop at Tanah Abang Station. Go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Rangkasbitung and stop at Kebayoran Station. Take a 30 minutes walk to the southeast
