Jakarta Night Festival: A Special New Year Gift from Governor of Jakarta


Government of Jakarta will held a New Year’s eve event called the Jakarta Night Festival on next Monday, December 31. The government of Jakarta hopes that Jakarta Night Festival will be attended by approximately 50 thousand Jakarta inhabitants. Jakarta Night Festival will be crowded with 15 entertainment stage in City Hall (start the carnival, home band municipal police), National Monument Southwest Door (Harp / Islamic Music), Bank Mandiri (Keroncong), Gedung Jaya (Folk Music), BII Building (Pop Band), EX Plaza (Jazz), Jalan Purworejo (Folk Music), UOB Building (Dangdut), Dukuh Atas (Campursari), Toyota (folk music), Chase Plaza (keroncong), Le Meredien (Campursari), Manulife (Pop Band), Bendungan Hilir Junction (kromong xylophone), and the University of Atma Jaya (dangdut). Meanwhile, the main stage will be presented in Bunderan HI are. The whole entertainment will be available on stages start at 21:30 pm.

Apart from providing the entertainment stages, Jakarta Night Festival will also be celebrated with a carnival that followed by 3000 participant who came from Bikes Community, Marching Band, art culture of the archipelago, and Rumah Batik Carnival. And there will be the Performing Arts which will be attended by 2013 students with a unique formation in the view of arts and culture. The route will be starr from the Jakarta City Hall, at 22.00 to Jalan Thamrin and finish at the Bunderan HI around 23.30.

Jakarta Night Festival will also be celebrated with a variety of attractions such as fireworks attraction fireworks, laser shows, water fountains, flying zeppelin balloons and much more. Fireworks attraction will be centered on the Bunderan HI to celebrate the New Year

On Jakarta Night Festival 2012, on December 31, starting at 21:00 to 2:00, the Government of Jakarta imposed a Jakarta Car Free Night. Jakarta Car Free Night will imposed on Thamrin-Sudirman corridor. Jakarta Car Free Night is to provide an opportunity for Jakarta residents to welcomes New Year’s Eve in Thamrin-Sudirman corridor safely and comfortably.

From Juanda go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai and change your route in Manggarai go to platform 2/5  then take the Yellow Line heading to Duri/Angke and stop at Sudirman Station and take a 12 minutes walk to the north

From Gondangdia go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai and change your route in Manggarai go to platform 2/5  then take the Yellow Line heading to Duri/Angke and stop at Sudirman Station and take a 12 minutes walk to the north

From Cikini go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai and change your route in Manggarai go to platform 2/5  then take the Yellow Line heading to Duri/Angke and stop at Sudirman Station and take a 12 minutes walk to the north

From Tanah Abang go to platform 3/5 and take the Yellow Line heading to Manggarai and stop at Sudirman Station and take a 12 minutes walk to the north
