An Icelandic post-rock band will Perform at Jakarta on May 2013


Sigur Ros, an An Icelandic post-rock band will have their live performance at Istora Senayan Jakarta on 10 May 2013. Flux and Play as their promotor is already confirmed on Friday that the band would include Jakarta in its word tour this year.

The Promotor provide 7000 ticket for the Sigur Ros live performance and the ticket will be on sale on January 25. The Tribune tickets will be set at the price of Rp 700,000, while festival tickets will be set at the price of Rp 850,000. Sigur Ros is widely known for its unique style of music, particularly for the use of the bowed guitar. Sigur Ros, now comprising Birgisson, bassist Georg Holm, 36, and drummer Orri Pall Dyrason, 35, were formed in 1994 and take their name from Birgisson’s younger sister Sigurros, who was born the day the band were founded.
