Today at 14.00 located at the East Side of the Medan Merdeka Square, hundreds of people gather to dance to fight any violence against women. The @OBR_Indonesia led by @purplerebel and assisted by a groups of women activists is organized the dance in Indonesia. According to Shera, the media relation officer of the @OBR_Indonesia, the dance is also happening at other cities in Indonesia such as in Jogja, Solo, Surabaya, Bandung, Bali, Malang, Poso, Mataram, and also Makassar.

One Billion Rising is the global movement to raise the awareness to fights violence against women. It is a global crisis if we see that 1 of 3 women in the world have to face the violence against them. Shera also said that this movement is conducted in at least 202 countries around the world. @DnayNisaa said that this event is about celebrating women empowerment to end rape and rape culture.
