Kantor Pos Fatahillah or Jakarta Old City Post Office is located on Jl. Kali Besar Timur, Jakarta Barat/West Jakarta. It is located right before the Jakarta History Museum. Post office building was designed by Ir. R. Baumgartner, and from the beginning designed as a post office. Post Office was built in 1928. As a newly established city, the Batavia require communication path through the mail. To achieved that purposes, VOC built a two-level building to serve the postal service. Until now, the building is still functioning as post office operated by PT Pos Indonesia.
This building is dominated by the vertical window to complement the “horizontal” wide building. Ceiling height is relatively high is very supportive to comfort the building in a tropical climate.

From Juanda/Gondangdia /Cikini go to platform 1 and take the Red Line or Blue Line to Jakarta Kota. From here go to the North Exit then take a 5 minute walk to the North
From Tanah Abang go to platform 3 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai go to platform 3/5 and take the Red Line or Blue Line to Jakarta Kota. From here go to the North Exit then take a 5 minute walk to the North
From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai go to platform 3/5 and take the Red Line or Blue Line to Jakarta Kota. From here go to the North Exit then take a 5 minute walk to the North
