Who can still remember the last time to send a mail through the post office? Is it happened a long time ago because you are no longer send mail that have been replaced by electronic mail that much faster? Even if no longer send mail, you are still remember the services of a postman delivering mail to your home.

Previously postman still use the bike, maybe this time they still use bike in certain areas in Indonesia, but that is clearly that no longer the postman have to use a bike to deliver mails in Jakarta. In general, the postman has been using motorcycles to send mails, especially in the big cities.

In the Capital Post Office lawn, stands a monument of a Postman complete with his bike. Capital Post Office building itself is often referred to as the Central Jakarta Post Office. This monument was inaugurated at the time seemed Capital Post building was also inaugurated on December 31, 1991. The purpose of establishment of the Monument Postman is not known, but most likely as a landmark of the Capital Post Office Building.

From Gondangdia /Cikini go to platform 1 and  take Red Line or Blue Line heading to Jakarta Kota and stop at Juanda. Take a 11 minutes walk to the East

From Tanah Abang go to platform 3 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and  take Red Line or Blue Line heading to Jakarta Kota and stop at Juanda. Take a 11 minutes walk to the East

From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and  take Red Line or Blue Line heading to Jakarta Kota and stop at Juanda. Take a 11 minutes walk to the East
