The estimated travel time between SHIA Station to Manggarai Station is 70 minutes.
With the development of the railways frim Manggarai to SHIA is expected to solve the problem of transportation in Jakarta and Tangerang. The commuter train railways to the airport as a solution because of the increase of vehicles in the next three years is expected to exceed the capacity of the highway and seriously affect accessibility to the airport.
PT Angkasa Pura II, the operator of the Soekarno Hatta International Airport, is currently preparing a tender to build a commuter train station between Terminal I and Terminal II, this integrated building is also equipped with a shopping mall. At 1977, SHIA was designed to accommodate 22 million passengers per year. But this time SHIA is visited by 51 million passengers per year
