Road Teater to Present Les Miserables @GedungKesenian


Les Miserables or The Unlucky Peoples is a French historical novel authored by Victor Hugo. It was first published in 1862, and generally regarded as one of the greatest novels of the nineteenth century. The story it self begin in 1815 and culminating in the uprising in June 1832, it is describes the history of France, urban design and architecture of Paris, politics, moral philosophy, anti-monarchy, justice, religion, and the types and nature of romantic love and the love of family, while also focusing on the experience and struggles of ex-convict Jean Valjean.

Road Teater

On 26 and 27 April 2013, Road Theatre will feature Les Miserables at the Jakarta Arts House. The shows will begin at 19:30. The great works of Victor Huga was adapted and directed by Tuti NEW. Ticket price Rp 75.000, – and Rp 50.000, – (balcony)
