Jakarta Fair or Pekan Raya Jakarta, is an annual event that held in Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta. The Jakarta Fair 2013 will be held from 6 June to 7 July 2013. Jakarta Fair is held to celebrate the anniversary of Jakarta. From time to time, the Jakarta Fair gets more and more bigger attention every year, and it attracts more than 3.5 million visitors with the transaction reached up to more than 3 trillion rupiahs.

It features exhibitions, trade promotions, shopping, music performances, various shows, amusement rides, and a food festival. It will display a whole range of goods and products ranging from specialty food items to traditional handmade arts and crafts. It is also will be a live entertainment including music, dance and cultural performances

Jakarta Fair is no longer considering as national event but it is for sure an international event. Many foreign and local tourists come to Jakarta during Jakarta Fair event especially to feel the atmosphere of the Jakarta Fair by themselves. This world-class festival should be visited by anyone who would like spending their summer holiday in Indonesia.

Due to the crowd, it is sometimes hard to get a parking space. Lack of parking lots is main problem found in Jakarta Fair, you can use the commuter train in order to avoid many difficulties finding parking lot. The committee of the Jakarta Fair is trying to provide more additional parking lots outside the area of Jakarta Fair. However, there are some complaints from visitors because certain people may ask for much higher parking fee.

How to get gere (see the route map)

From Juanda go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai Station and in Manggarai Station change your route and go to platform 5 then take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south

From Gambir go to platform 3/4 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai Station and in Manggarai Station change your route and go to platform 5 then take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south

From Gondangdia go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai Station and in Manggarai Station change your route and go to platform 5 then take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south

From Cikini go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Manggarai Station and in Manggarai Station change your route and go to platform 5 then take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara and stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south

From Tanah Abang go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south

From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Jatinegara stop Rajawali Station and take 18 minute walks to the south
