In 2013, the Alliance of Independent Journalists will host the the 2nd Online Media Annual Conference with the theme “Global Content: Problem of Ethics, Economics, and the Challenge to be Host at Home”.
This conference aims to seek feedback on AJI Indonesia research report titled “Online Media: Readers, Profits and Ethics”; addition, the conference will also discuss the problem of journalistic ethics in the practice of online journalism in Indonesia, online media community handling in the online media, and evaluate cyber media guidelines issued by the Press Council and its implementation.
In this conference will present speakers from all media, namely Anky Prihatna (Google Indonesia), David Aditirto (Facebook Indonesia), Aditya Chandra Ward (Bloomberg TV), Widi Nugroho (Plasa MSN), and Edi Taslim (Publishers Association); private sectors, namely Robin Mulyadi (Effective Measure), Sammy Pangerapan (APJII), Henri Kashfi Soemartono (Click Indonesia), as well as Nezar Patria from the Press Council and Gita Wiryawan, Trade Minister
The conference will be held on: Tuesday, July 2, 2013, Tfrom 8:30 to 16:00 at the Palace Ballroom, Sari Pan Pacific Hotel, Jalan MH. 6 Thamrin, Central Jakarta
