Since the 1970s, Jl. Pecenongan in Central Jakarta became the center of the culinary night market and filled with a variety of culinary food vendors. You can see the row of stalls tent along Jl. Culinary tourism in Jl. Pecenongan started to open when the evening falls. Especially when entering the weekend, not only local foodies who visit the region, but also foreign tourists come to this area come to enjoy various types of cuisine available there.
Although a lot of stalls in the left and the right side along the road, but the majority of the food sold are seafood and pork menu. Pecenongan region is famous for the two kind of culinary. Besides seafood, there are many Sinar Garut booth that contains varieties type of Ice mix and chicken porridge. If you want sweet foods, there are some carts that sells Martabak!
If you’re curious to see the legendary culinary night market, just try to come there. It’s not far from Juanda Station.
