PT Angkasa Pura II (AP II) hopes that the construction of Airport Monorail or automatic people mover system (APMS) at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang will start in early 2014. The Airport monorail will connect each terminal in SHIA. The  1, 2 and 3 of Soekarno-Hatta. The construction is expected to be completed by mid-2015 coincided with operation of the CommuterLine to SHIA.

Airport monorail project will be undertaken by a consortium of PT Adhi Karya Tbk, PT INKA, and PT LEN.
