PT KAI said that the company will operate Commuter Line to and from Jakarta Kota until midnight on New Year’s Eve. The company hoped the late night Commuter Line services would persuade residents of Greater Jakarta to use trains instead of cars to minimize traffic congestion in several spot in Jakarta. The late night trains on New Year’s Eve will serve people in suburban areas who want to celebrate downtown.

Here are the schedules for Commuter Line services in New Year’s Eve
Yellow Line:

• The last train from Bogor will depart to Jatinegara at 22:20 (31/12/2013)
• The last train from Jatinegara will depart to Bogor at 01:00 (1/1/2014)

Blue Line:

• The last train from Bekasi will depart to Jakarta Kota at 23:45 (31/12/2013)
• The last train from Jakarta Kota will depart to Bekasi at 01:45 (1/1/2014)

Red Line:

• The last train from Bogor will depart to Jakarta Kota at 22:45 (31/12/2013)
• The last train from Jakarta Kota will depart to Bekasi at 01:30 (1/1/2014)
