Denny Malik in cooperation with Charisma Productions will host musical performances “Drama Musikal Siti Nurbaya (Kasih tak Sampai)” that will be held at the Theatre Jakarta, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM ), Central Jakarta from Saturday 29 March 2014 to Sunday 30 March 2014.

This drama comes from a novel written by Marah Rusli “Sitti Nurbaya (Kasih tak Sampai)” that was first published in 1920. The romance became famous after in the 1991 there was a television drama starring Gusti Randa as Samsubahri, Novia Kolopaking as Siti Nurbaya, and Him Damsyik as Datuk Meringgih.

Denny Malik, the director, was very proud to present the romance since this love story is the story written by an Indonesian. Denny also said that Sitti Nurbaya is an Indonesian version of Romeo and Juliet.

The drama will be packed with contemporary format with support for sound, lighting, and visual that will comfort the audience. The drama will will involve 150 supporters and supported by vocalist from four top bands such as Ariyo Wahab, Faith “J-Rocks”, Andi “/Rif”, and Candil. Moreover, it will be presented as well Dewi Gita, Denada, Aria “Samsons”, Leona “The Voice”, Arro “The Voice” and Vicky Burky.
