Double track from Duri to Tangerang is ready for use. With this double track, PT KAI Commuter Jabodetabek (PT. KCJ) has increased the number of commuterline trips from 48 /day to 62 /day. It is possible because previously there was only single track in Brown Line and starting from this year the Brown Line can use double track.
However, the addition of a predetermined schedule on 1 June 2014 in Brown Line expected to delay for 1 month. The transition process is being refined by the Ministry of Transportation and PT KAI to ensure the safety aspect accordance to the Safety, Healthy, and Environment of PT KAI standards.
This is a commitment from PT KAI and PT KCJ for the safety of passengers and train travel
