Jakarta Folk Fair 2014: Lively but Lack of Information

Tonight, finally I have a chance to visit the first ever Jakarta Folk Fair (Pekan Rakyat Jakarta) 2014 or popularly known as PRJ Monas, located at the Medan Merdeka Square. Walking for almost 10 minutes from Gondangdia Station, I have greeted by the long tent when entering the Medan Merdeka Square gate. For sure, there are a lot of street foods that you can find at this tent. You can dine in, since in the tent there are a lot of tables and chairs to enjoy your foods

You can find many foods from traditional food to the western style foods

Well, not only foods but also some snack, puddings, ice based drinks, and chocolate

The foods are very tempting to be enjoyed. However, because I am trying hard to keep my weight off, then I walk to another tent. Some high school also displayed their works in here. Well, their display is not really attractive, so I just visit the aviation school. They have displayed some aircraft models

Well, some prominent convenience stores are also here, including the banks and its ATM

Switch to another tent, they sells non food goods such as clothes, toys, bags, kites, and the mask.

The mask is quite funny actually, it is for the motor rider.

I was bored easily, since no information is available about this interesting event. So you have to walk with no clue about the tents. The government should prepare better than this
