Pondok Sate Djono Jogya main serving is Lamb satay (Sate Kambing). This restaurant also serves other lamb based food such tongseng and lamb soup. This restaurant is already served its customer since 1973. Uniquely, unlike other satay serving restaurant, Pondok Sate Djono also serves Sumedang Tofu as an appetizer. Pondok Sate Djono is located in Jl. Penjernihan I No 5 B, Central Jakarta.
From the outside, this restaurant seems old and to some certain degree dirty. But there are a lot of luxury cars that parked before the restaurant. Another view is that you can see clouds of smoke rising higher when the satay is grilled in front of the restaurant.
Once you walk inside the restaurant, you will feel and old and classic atmosphere. They have dining table and chair with classic Javanese style is still maintained. The fan is inadequate compared to the area of the restaurant, no wonder if you feel hot, especially when it’s full with customers.
The appetizer before the main meal is Sumedang tofu; you can immediately enjoy this delicious and warm tofu. Pondok Sate Djono presented a very tasty satay. Satenya seasoning to seep into the meat until tender meat texture is not tough when bitten. No wonder this satay hut never deserted from buyers.
The marinade that absorb into the meat ensure the meat have a soft texture when bitten. No wonder this restaurant is always full with their loyal customer. Unfortunately the list menu at this restaurant is not displaying the price, but in general you will spend between Rp. 50 K to Rp. 100 K.

Go to Platform 5 and take the Yellow Line heading to Angke/Jatinegara and stop atTanah Abang. Then go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Serpong/Parung Panjang/Maja/Rangkasbitung and stop at Palmerah. Take a 13-minute walk to the northeast direction.
From Tanah Abang go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Serpong/Parung Panjang/Maja/Rangkasbitung and stop at Palmerah. Walk for 13 minutes to the northeast direction.
From Sudirman Go to Platform 1 and take the Yellow Line heading to Angke/Jatinegara and stop atTanah Abang. Then go to Platform 5/6 and take the Green Line heading to Serpong/Parung Panjang/Maja/Rangkasbitung and stop at Palmerah. From there, take a 13-minute walk to the northeast direction.
