The presence of Si Jagur cannon can’t be separated from the legend that surrounds the cannon. This legend is believed from obscene symbol in the cannon; clenched hand with the thumb protruding between the index and middle fingers.

This symbol is a symbol that represents the actual coitus or Mano in Fica. Mano in fica is an ancient symbol of sexual intercourse that originated in Italy. It is derived from the Italian word: mano (hand) and fica (vulva).

Initially, the cannon were placed in the Fort St. Jago de Barra in Macau, before being taken to Malacca.
