The term of Taman Kodok or Frog Park is given because of the many frog ornaments that decorate on every corner of the park. Initially this was just a regular park managed by the local municipality. But since 2012, the park was renovated by the Jakarta Parks Department
You can see variety of plants and it all well maintained. Park Visitors can also be sitting on benches while breathing fresh air. Thanks to mini jogging park, since it will allows you to run around the park. One of the interesting attractions of this park is the dancing fountain located in the middle of the park.
While sitting, you can enjoy a variety of food sold by street vendors ranging from chicken satay, chicken noodle, chicken porridge, chicken soup, meatballs, coconut ice, and more.
Situated next to Taman Menteng, this park is located at Jl. Sidoarjo No 3, Menteng, Central Jakarta
How to get here (see the route map):
From Juanda / Gondangdia / Cikini go to Platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Bekasi/Depok/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Then go to Platform 5 and take the Yellow Line heading to Angke/Jatinegara and stop at Sudirman. Then walk to the northeast for 16 minutes.
From Tanah Abang: Go to Platform 3 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Sudirman. Then walk to the northeast for 16 minutes.
