Metropole XXI Building is one of the old buildings with Dutch Indies heritage that still retains its original construction increasingly lively with the presence of Roemah Koeliner. The restaurant occupies the second floor of what was a bare room unkempt which is sometimes used as a place to store unused items

No wonder the art deco style building looks more elegant in night. The letter composition of “Roemah Koeliner” is also displayed clearly in building. Ornamental plants in various corners of the building beautify this old building.

With restaurant elongated shape, the Roemah Koeliner has a similar system to the food court at the shopping centers. On the one side that extends into the area of food sales. Visitors will get a card that can be filled with deposit money in a certain amount. With the card, we select and purchase a variety of food. If the deposit is less, we can increase the amount. After you already finish your meal, you can refund your deposit in cash.

Roemah Koeliner serves a diverse menu of food which all derived from various regions in Indonesia. Roemah Culinary also provide quite a lot of variety of desserts, snacks, and drinks from Indonesia, which some of them are not easily be encountered elsewhere.

How to get here (see the route map):

From Juanda / Gondangdia go to platform 2 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Bekasi/Depok/Bogor and stop at Cikini. Take a 5 minutes walk to the southeast

From Tanah Abang go to platform 3 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Jakarta Kota and stop at Cikini. Take a 5 minutes walk to the southeast

From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and take the Red Line or Blue Line heading to Jakarta Kota and stop at Cikini. Take a 5 minutes walk to the southeast
