Well, finding a restaurant that sells Gonggong snails in Jakarta is not an easy task. It is very hard to find. I’ve found the restaurant which sells Gonggong snails in in Kelapa Gading.

When I know that there is restaurant selling Gonggong snails in Sawah Besar, my attention finally move to that restaurant and I want to try it. It is located not far from the famous Medan Baru Restaurant. Located on Jl. Krekot Bunder Raya No. 52, the Rumah Makan Gonggong is indeed selling Gonggong as a mainstay menu. However, this restaurant did not just sell Gonggong snails and other kind of seafood. They also sell kind of menu such as chicken based menu.

With a seating capacity of 160 people, this restaurant has two floors, divided between Air Conditioned rooms and non air conditioned room. Rumah Makan Gongging is the restaurant you can not miss

From Juanda / Gondangdia / Cikini go to platform 1 and take the Blue Line/Red Line heading to Jakarta Kota then stop at Sawah Besar and take a 7 minutes walk to the Northeast

From Tanah Abang go to platform 3 and take Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and take the Blue Line/Red Line heading to Jakarta Kota then stop at Sawah Besar and take a 7 minutes walk to the Northeast

From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor and stop at Manggarai. Go to platform 3/5 and take the Blue Line/Red Line heading to Jakarta Kota then stop at Sawah Besar and take a 7 minutes walk to the Northeast
