During the colonial era, land transportation which connecting Depok with Jakarta and Bogor from become indispensable. Therefore in 1917, the Dutch build a bridge that crosses the Ciliwung River to connect Depok with Jakarta and Bogor.

Jembatan Panus name derived from the name of the architect Stephanus Jonathans or widely known as Stephanus Leander. For ease, eventually name of this bridge is known as the Jembatan Panus or Panus Bridge

Although no longer used as the main connection as in the past, but at the present time, Jembatan Panus serves to monitor the water level of the Ciliwung River, especially during the rainy season.

From Juanda / Gondangdia / Cikini go to platform 2 and take the Red Line heading to  Depok/Bogor then stop at Depok Station and take a 26 minutes walk to the Northeast

From Tanah Abang go to platform 3 and take Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor then stop at Depok Station and take a 26 minutes walk to the Northeast

From Sudirman go to platform 2 and take the Yellow Line heading to Depok/Nambo/Bogor then stop at Depok Station and take a 26 minutes walk to the Northeast
