The Ministry of Transportation and Bogor Regency is preparing the construction of new lines for CommuterLine which connects Citayam Station and Parungpanjang Station. The new line will also connected by the existing Green Line from Serpong to Maja

Head of Regional Development Planning Agency of Bogor Regency, Syarifah Sofiyah, said the plan is to support for the development of new areas which designed in three areas, namely Bogor, Tangerang, and Lebak because the government will build a number of subsidized housing

There is also a double track development plan for the Citayam-Nambo line which also to be connected with the area of Bekasi and Tanjung Priok. The construction of the Commuterline Railways is already at the Greater Jakarta Transportation Master Plan (RITJ), which became a national program.
