The Minister of Transportation has already announced that the operation of Airport Train connecting Soekarno Hatta International Airport (SHIA) to city center will be at 1 December 2017. This is a delay from previous announcement.

As already stated, the terminus station for SHIA Train will be at Sudirman Baru Station and Shia Station. There will be 82 trips/day with the total capacity passenger are 33.000 passengers/day. The headway between trains will be 30 minutes. The ticket price will be at IDR 100.000 or about less than USD 10. From 1 December to 31 December 2017 the ticket price is only IDR 30.000 or less than USD 3

The passengers may go to terminal 1 to terminal 3 by using the SHIA sky train for free

There will be no cash payment to ride the SHIA Airport Express train. You may purchase the ticket trough internet booking, mobile apps, and vending machines at the stations by any card with Visa, Mastercard, JCB, & Amex logo.
